Woodwind Quintet in Los Angeles, with Julie Long, flute, David Kossoff, oboe, Margaret Thornhill, clarinet, Nathan Campbell, horn, and John Campbell, bassoon. Playing together since 2006, these distinguished Los Angeles freelancers can be heard in all sectors of the Southern California music scene: orchestra, opera, musical theatre, recording studios, chamber music, recitals and educational concerts. Members of the quintet also teach at area colleges such as College of the Canons, Biola University, CSU Long Beach, CSU Dominguez Hills, CSU Los Angeles, Long Beach City College, Saddleback College and Concordia University, Irvine, as well as privately.

With the 2019 departure of hornist Nate Campbell as a regular member, the group promoted itself as a woodwind quartet, Category IV, before disbanding in 2021.
